It Truly is a Wonderful Life.....

Well, welcome to "An Encompassed Life." I promise I will try to keep it interesting. As the description says, this is going to cover quite a few things. I lead a simple life, but it's a wonderful life. This is basically a commentary on my life, what I do, what I think, and what you think! Yes what YOU think. I'm young, so let's face it, I have millions of questions about life. I'd love to hear your feedback on these questions. Also, there will be a Tip of the Day, according to something I have learned in my simple little life that day. So enough boring stuff....

Life Question: Do you think animals go to heaven?

This is a highly debated topic between me and my boyfriend. We are both animal lovers (That is our chihuahua!) I believe they do not. No where in the bible does it say that animals have a soul and that they can go to heaven. He believes they do go to heaven. He says "look at those eyes, how can you tell me he doesn't have soul. He loves you, he feels love. How can he not go to heaven?" I don't know, but I don't think heaven was made for animals. Sue me...What do you think???

Moving on....

I bought an elliptical in February. I thought I would love it, since it is supposed to be low impact and all (to me that registered as easy....not so.) Anywho, I have come to find that I love running even more. The only problem is, I live in the middle of town and prefer not to go running down "Main" Street. So I drive to "Trail de Paris" and go run there. It is a beautiful trail! BUT I would prefer to just run in my lil' ol' apartment. Silly me for buying an elliptical instead of a treadmill. How bout you? Elliptical or Treadmill? They are both really effective, using both since February 2009 I have lost 8 lbs!!! (That may not seem like much to you, but every little bit counts. Especially since my boyfriend can lose 15 lbs without even trying! Damn you men and your high metabolisms!) I find that the hardest part about it is staying motivated. Solution: while "ellipticaling" I put on my favorite sitcom, something that will take my mind of the exercise, but that is at least half an hour to get the most out of the exercise. When I want to run, I get up and go; the minute it hits me that I need to go run, I get up and throw on my tennis shoes. (Don't give yourself time to talk yourself out of it!! It works lol.)

Well, you livers of life out there, contemplating life, and loving and dreading it all at the same time, yes I'm talking to you: Hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Tip of the day: When cooking, and you need a timer, and you wanna use the microwave as a timer, MAKE SURE YOU HIT THE TIMER BUTTON FIRST! Don't be silly like me and just punch in the time and hit start. You could burn out your microwave, not that you probably didn't already know that?
